Sopot in general is famous for its kilometers of sandy beaches, houses of picturesque architecture bathed in green gardens, and a long pier that allows a walk along the bottom of the sea. From the end of the pier you can admire a magnificent panorama of a city with red roofs and turrets with a green background created from forest hills (somewhere here is the forest opera). What else? The hippodrome, beautiful parks, as well as a few museums and galleries. The magnificent forest with beautiful old trees hides some viewpoints. A reconstructed  fortress from the early Middle Ages, nature in the gardens and parks,  and the architecture are just a few of the points of interest in Sopot.

Let me know your specific interests and I can develop a tour just for you. If you give me no specifics, I will show you the evolution of the city and how it became a seaside resort. You will see the effects of the great construction boom at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and understand the priorities used when creating the city. You will find out which elements make Sopot a popular place to live from its earliest beginnings until now. To tell you a little: the prices of properties here are one of the highest in Poland. Sopot dethrones the capital of Poland, Warsaw, and only competes with the prices of a few other holiday resorts in Poland: one in the mountains and one on the German border.

I would love to show you “my Sopot”. As I have known the city since my childhood, I can share with you, not only the older history of Sopot, (which dates back to the 10th century), but also let you know its newer history. This includes the great changes between the 1980s and today, since the (almost) complete collapse of the city until now, and a bit of everything that happened in between.
